Default Track Resizing [real time]

I'm sure it must have been suggested to be added to Reaper but I didn't find any topic which is exactly about what i want : Vegas-like track resizing. For those who hasn't seen worked in Vegas I attached a link, you'll find a video I made to show what I've been thinking of.
What are your opinions?
thanks

It's probably the way it is currently because of some optimization thing. I'd like to see an option for instant visual feedback on resizing, sure... +1

++1 I was about to request it one day,

and especially *right click* to resize all tracks at once (with visual feedback). We could even use a modifier to only resize tracks of the same type as the selected one (audio, VSTi, midi, those without any items).

And as we're talking about resizing, how about the "auto-vertical zoom" following track selection ? It's saving a lot of time spent for zooming in/out, and a convenient keycommand toggles this mode on/off (...in Logic ).
