Default Editing midi items

Hi guys, i dont know if this is possible in reaper but i'm trying to get a bunch of notes next to each other (like in the x axis and without affecting its length) without joining them but i cant seem to acomplish it, so if anyone can give me a hand it would be very aprecciated.

Difficult to give any specific hints without knowing more details. Like, for instance, are we talking about inserting new notes, rearranging existing notes, adjusting note lengths, etc.

It's probably best if you can please post screenshots which show what you're trying to do.

I dont know if this explains it, i just want to join the ends of the notes without affecting their length

there's a function called Make Legato that should fill those gaps
