Hey guys, I am trying to get a copy of my license to run Reaper on my Laptop. I have windows 7 and finally got instructions on how to find
reaper-license.rk file. The problem is when I go to copy it to use for laptop I get an error saying Windows can not open file. Says it is unknown file. So can someone please tell what I can do now?? I even tried to find how to email someone at Reaper but find how?? Someone please help!!
Hi, I was running the evaluation of Reaper and is now over due and asking to import license key. On my main PC (studio) is where Iam using Reaper all the time. Now I have a laptop so I can take stuff with me. So Iam trying to find my license key there but windows says it cant read the RK file??
We sent you a copy of your license email. Either something went wrong with copying (did you set Explorer to display file extensions so you can see all contents of your REAPER resource folder?) the file or REAPER doesn't run with sufficient permissions to write the file. Well the WIKI training is nice but when I registered back in 2008 I did not get a download - I have the license key but no .RK file to import when I now want to get off my Windows PC and move to my Mac Book.
So you think they would resend the .rk file when I never got one in the first place?
