Default [Solved] Move edit cursor bug

Not a bug........I was creating a loop, not a time selection but got confused by the shading in the arrange view that made me think it was selecting time.

I think this looks like a bug yes ?

Seems to work here, maybe you have some other setting that is conflicting?

What you're changing there is loop selection (you have loop selection and time selection unlinked, as seen in your Prefs).

You're right, I got confused that the loop selection shaded the arrange view area like a time selection. I don't think it should but thanks for getting me straight.

Hm..not in my gif, maybe it's theme dependent or a prefernce?
