Default Samplitude user trying Reaper demo: question

I just did a quick demo with reaper the other night, 10 tracks of drums , bass, keys and guitar. All played live.
I kind of use samplitude as a tape machine in the sense that I simply go to the end of the last take to start a new one.
In reaper, my two takes are "super imposed" over each other and seem to play simultaneously. Take one was false start, but it is bleeding onto take two. How can I separate these takes from each other?
Thanks!

Look for "explode takes" in the action list!

Thanks for the answers, guys/gals!

G-Sun, I'm assuming your reply was meant more for the next time I track?

Thanks again for info

Yes, depending on you wanted workflow.

Whoa, you saved my day, thank you a lot for this!

Edit: it's not what I was looking for: to stop trimming recorded loops (takes) where recording started. Of course thank you anyway!
