Default Solo modes - how do I change it?

Hi everyone!

First post - yay!

I'm a long time Logic user and I'm trying to move my mastering setup over to Reaper.
I'll be using Logic for production but I'd like to use Reaper for mastering.

I've got this basic problem:
There's 2 tracks in my project and I need to switch between the two and only hearing one track at a time.

In Logic I hit the solo button on one of the tracks while pressing the ALT button on my keyboard. This mutes the other track and I can switch between the two tracks with one mouse (+ ALT) click.

Is it possible to set the same shortcut or is the command already available?

Hold Cmd+Option (OSX) or Ctrl+Alt (Windows) while clicking on the solo button. More info here: http://reaperblog.net/2012/08/video-...olo-in-reaper/

Assigning a shortcut to 'Track: Toggle solo for selected tracks' in the Action List might be another useful option.

And welcome to the Reaper Forums!

In case you haven't already found them, also check out the User Guide (https://www.reaper.fm/userguide.php) and Videos Section (https://www.reaper.fm/videos.php) in general.

Default Mouse behavior like logic

Hi Solger.

I'd like to ask another question:
How do I setup the mouse to behave as it does in Logic?
Mouse scroll is horizontally and vertically = scroll horizontally and vertically
Alt + Mouse scroll horizontally and vertically = zoom horizontally and vertically

1) Open the Action List
2) Search for 'Scroll' or 'Zoom' related Actions via the Filter input field at the top:

- View: Scroll horizontally (MIDI CC relative/mousewheel)
- View: Scroll vertically (MIDI CC relative/mousewheel)

- View: Zoom horizontally (MIDI CC relative/mousewheel)
- View: Zoom vertically (MIDI CC relative/mousewheel)

3) Adjust Shortcuts for a selected Action via the [Delete] and [Add] buttons

General info about Actions can be found here: https://www.reaper.fm/videos.php#tzg9fifza0s

Hi again Solger and thanks for helping again.

I'm trying to build a custom action:
I'm importing files and creating regions from these files.
I'd like to remove the *.wav extension from the items and I've found the SWS: Auto-rename selected takes which works okay. I just need to hit the "enter" every time I rename an item.

Is there a way to avoid this key command in my custom action?

EDIT: NEVERMIND.

I've found a solution here:
