Default MIDI Editor: Middle mouse button doesn't work anymore

Why can't we set the edit cursor in the MIDI editor to a different position with the middle mouse button anymore?

This worked fine in 2.55. In 3.alpha2b it just works in the arrange.

Another big flaw with the default theme:

You can't see the edit cursor if it snaps to the grid (1/4)!

Confirmed, it would be cool to have configurable middle button as in TCP view.
