Conditions:

Behavior: Open all midi in the project
When you select an item in the main arrange window while the midi editor is open...
Old Behavior: It would open the selected midi, and would have the other midi in the background ghosted. If the midi editor was open already, it would just switch to the active item.
Current Behavior: it loads all the midi items every time you select one and selects them, making the selection link broken.
Do you have selection linked to visibility AND linked to editability at the same time? These behaviours have now been finetuned. They make more sense as they are now. I think what you want is to just have selection linked to editability but NOT visibility.
This is a bug in 5.20 pres: copy MIDI item by ctrl+drag or by duplicate and we can see MIDI item default view mode anyway. In 5.18 this feature works ok - triangles, diamonds are copied and duplicated well.
Devs, please, repair this useful function.
