Default reasamplomatic5000 use with a drumpad midi controller

Hi everyone! Glad to have made Reaper my daw. I recently bought a pyle drum pad to use with it https://www.amazon.com/USB-MIDI-Cont.../dp/B071GWB1N3. Can someone please tell me how it can be used with the reasamplomatic5000? I have many drum samples that id like play via the reasamplomatic5000 on the drumpad. Is this possible?

I tried to match the key with the pad in reasamplomatic5000. I see activity when I press any pads in the meter but i hear no sound.

Welcome !

The usual beginner's fault is forgetting to activate the input monitor (small loudspeaker symbol) ) in the track.

Hey thanks for the welcome and tip! I did cut on the little speaking after you advised, but still no sound. In resamplomatic, I can click the square manually and hear the sample so I know the is working okay at least. But when I press any key on the drum pad, it doesnt light up the sound meter that much. Just a little red at the bottom when a pad is pressed.

I think I found what was wrong. Need to assign pads, but they're all over the place as far as notes go. Probably need a better drum pad midi controller lol

There is a JSFX for mapping notes according to map files, and map files for multiple purposes are available in the stash.
