Default Reabank

Hey guys,

I need help with Javascript for getting program and banks from *.reabank files. I've got it working but I have this nagging feeling that I'm working to hard and the code is too long.

I know about the MSN/LSB and all that. The rats nest in my code is parsing the varying whitespaces to always get program and program name.

If anyone here can help, appreciated and thanks in advance.

Yeah, thanks. I tried some of that but (maybe my bad luck) the reabank files I downloaded from the Stash to code against with have varying white spaces and I think some of them have tabs in them. I'm "brute forcing" it a with regex, replace, splicing arrays and some other stuff but I have the distinct feeling that I'm working too hard.

I should (for my purpose) just run a bunch of Reabank files through an Excel sheet or something and generate something else.

On the bright side, they're easier to work with then Cubase's or Sonars patch files (for me anyway).

Thanks K.

Reapack/mpl_Search ReaControlMIDI bank.lua and mpl_Generate reabank from focused FX.lua are the only known but awful examples of parsing/brutforcing reabank AFAIK
