Default Custom Incrementation value for mousehweel/mousedrag over TCP volume/pan/width

Hi,

Currently, when we mousewheel over TCP volume, incrementation value is a bit unpredictible, going +0.72 up and -0.75 down as first incrementation. WIth CTRL activated it goes by 0.04 which is extra small.

It would be nicer IMHO to have 0.5 incrementation, and 0.1 with mousewheel. Or maybe even customizable.

Same for mousedrags, for which current incrementation value makes it impossible to have rounded numbers.

Similarly, Pan is from 3% without CTRL, and 0.02% with. I would prefer 5% (to have nice rounded values) and 1% with CTRL.

This kind of little things make things looks more precize and solid IMHO

Thx!

(EDIT: and custom mouse drag incrementation value for envelope point too, currently it is 0.09dB)

Agree. Dragging to a precise value can be difficult often. It involves a first drag without ctrl to come into the ballpark and a second with ctrl to reach the precise value.

I agree 0.5 without ctrl and 0.1 with ctrl would be good default and ideally it would be customizable.

I am wondering why it does not become more precise when increasing the size of the fader though.

being able to set custom increment/decrement for mousewheel across any of REAPER's params would be incredibly useful. i've found that several of REAPER's knobs have finnicky control, to the point where i've switched to more predictably incremental actions to control them whenever possible.

trying to find the 1 pixel sweet spot can really slow a user down

+1. My music will be much better with rounded numbers.

Haha :P For those who may think rounding is pointless:
- remember music is only one kind of usage of reaper. Some workflows may benefit from more precise values
- 2 decimals values is mostly inaudible so why not round to have less informartion so they are easier to read (4.5 instead of 4.53 dB)
- as the request is about custop incrementation, feel free to put 0.71 values for increpentation if you wish :P
