This theme is beautiful - reminds me in some ways of Imperial.

That said, I am not getting the layouts provided in the screenshots. There is no "stereo pan" selections available. In fact, neither the TCP or MCP allow pan width adjustments in any layout that I can find.

Am I just missing it?

Thanks, but that is really Albert's work.
I just fixed a bunch of bugs to make it into a working version instead of the 'beta' he released.
It was inspired by the original Imperial, also Reaborn and I think Rado.

right click on the pan knob in any layout, then click on the drop down box on the bottom of that window.

I have no plans currently to add anything to this theme.
The goal with this was to just fix the bugs and get it out of 'beta' standing it had when Albert released it.
If you need more functionality with an analogue hardware look I suggest checking out LCS_Mahina_SE and LCS_Luna_SE or any of the other themes in my signature below.

Awesome.

try just copying the separator code and the separator sub-folder from one of the other themes into the RTCONFIG and image folder for this one.

open the Theme Tweaker
in the 3rd section from the top look for the following:
Selected track control panel background
click on the box next to it and raise the slider on the right to a lighter shade.
save the theme.

suggest you rename when when saving so you have the original as a backup.

Default Meter reset on TCP not working again

Sorry Lucas (or anyone else that can help?) The Meter reset sticks on red again since the last Reaper update. Any chance of a fix?

This was the previous fix for the same issue.
UPDATE: 03/04/2020
- fixed Meter reset on the TCP Master layout
- TCP layouts now have clickable areas for track selection, etc.

Thanks very much,

Hi Aquiline,
I just checked this with Reaper v6.11.
I am able to clear it as expected with a single click on the red at the top of the meter.
Not sure why you're not able to clear it.
have you tried downloading and re-installing the theme?

Lucas, you are keeping busy! B)

I had forgotten about this theme... This theme was my first REAPER - OMG / WOWZER moment! I couldn’t believe how cool it looked and of course I couldn’t use it because my monitor was too small...

ahh yes.
I think for many that moment was with Imperial or Rado4.
IIRC, most if not all of Albert's themes were at least partially influenced by Imperial.
The Transport in this one was directly lifted from it.
If you check his beta version you will see it still has the Imperial mark on it.
It was one of the things I removed during the Bugfixes.

Yes, I hadn’t seen Imperial yet at that point! I definitely see the lineage...

Very likely my favorite all-time and one of the first I downloaded when I got Reaper at the beginning of last year.

I have check all the themes on the web with 5 star rating
and this one is my Favorite
how genius are u Lucas, with very good taste
also try all your other themes
they are all brilliant
.................
One small thing about this themes
the rec-arm button
when the track is minimized it can not be found easily
so if the button can be shown when track minimized
it will be perfect for me
-----------
if the Rea-arm can switch with the Phase button
it will be great

Thank you, but this is Albert's work, I just fixed the bugs in it to make it more usable.
I only added 1 alternate layout to make it a little more flexible for workflows

Yes, this can be done.
You will need to:
- unpack the theme to access the theme file and image folder components
- open the image folder and find the RTconfig file.
- open that file with a text editor (like Notepad)
- find the TCP: "TRACK CONTROL PANEL" section near the top
- in that section find these entries:
set tcp.phase
set tcp.recarm

in the first (default) layout:
replace the tcp.phase line with:
Code:
set tcp.phase h>88 w<6 [0] [203 63 47 43 1 0 1 0 ] [0]
replace the recarm line with:
Code:
set tcp.recarm h>10 w<301 [0] [135 0 30 30 1 0 1 0 ]
In the Long Name layout, replace the tcp.phase line with:
Code:
set tcp.phase h>106 w<6 [0] [204 84 47 43 1 0 1 0] [0]
replace the recarm line with:
Code:
set tcp.recarm h>35 w<301 [0] [135 18 30 30 1 0 1 0]

NOTES:
- unpack the theme (the file ending with "Zip") outside of the Reaeper Clortheme folder
- copy the upacked components to the ColorTheme folder
- open the RTconfig from in side the ColorTheme folder
- after saving the changes in the RTconfig file, reload the theme and verify the changes are there and look OK.
- you do not need to repack the 2 theme components, just leave them in that unpacked state.

some last minor problems , can you check them?
1 the last minimizer one , seems not cut clean , its not horizontally flat

2 can you adjust the right portion of TCP

a
move the track number to the right corner
and make it a little bit bigger to align with "recarm mute solo" buttons

b
pull down the "gain aux return" all down
so they can be hidden when minimized

You will need to edit the following images:
tcp_idxbg
tcp_idxbg_sel

You will also need edit the RTconfig to adjust the position for the following:
Code:
set tcp.trackidx [239 -1 77 36 1 0 1 0]
set tcp.volume.label [245 16 55 14 1 0 1 0]
set tcp.io h>52 w<6 [0] [239 32 75 48 1 0 1 0 ]
tcp.trackidx is the track number you want to move to the right
tcp.volume.label is the volume readout (GAIN) that's just below the blue line
tcp.io is the Master/Send/Return section below the volume readout

If you just move the track ID to right, you will only need to edit the image to push the word 'GAIN' to the left so you can move the track ID to the right.
These 3 are tied together, so you will also need to adjust the volume label and io if you move the blue line down.

And when you're done with that, lucas, would you stop by and wash my car? Oh, and the house needs painting. And could you, please do that while you're bending over backwards helping people with their theming requests? Call me when you're done.

It's very simple,
just read the basic Documentation on how to Tweak or Create Reaper Themes.
(it's all here in the Forum stickies.)

There you will learn what all those numbers mean.

Then you just need to move the pictures around,
or resize them as you need.. (using those numbers..)

But oneamonday is right in the sense that,
LCS is not your employee, serf or private helper.

So at least you could Try to learn how it works,
and try to fix it yourself..

And then if you really cannot do it, maybe ask for help.

.

Understanding the basic functionality of the numbers is very easy.

If you tried to understand the Documentation,
and just screwed around changing one number at a time and checking the result,
you will probably see how it all works..

And also this would allow you to make more specific Questions about the topic.

You will come and say: if I change the numbers this/that way, this/that thing happens, but I need it to be that other way.

But since your questions/request are so vague,
it's possible we're led to assume you didn't read or try to learn it..

That's a Good point, and it's good that you noticed,
because now he/anyone can go and Perfect the theme.

Thing is, it's not much of a big deal, just:
Displacing the track Gain label, and numeric display a little lower, and make it disappear sooner.

But if you're nitpicky enough to really be bothered by this,
well it's a good chance for you to learn the basics of walter and experiment ..

Although women can get bitter too..

I guess is just the laws of life,
unless you're born between cottons/feathers in a Golden cradle,
chances are life is gonna come and hurt you sooner or later.

So yeah, most ppl is there on a higher/lower degree of hurt/resentment/bitterness.

It's only in the Movies and series like "Friends" where everyone is happy and smiley all the time.
But that's not good for intelligence, and does not correspond with the reality of most individuals.. lol

Hello, khraystotac3. Yes, I guess I am "just simple a real fool", who couldn't do the same thing you're asking lucas to do, until I tried, and tried, and tried, and tried, and succeeded. Usually, someone has read the instructional materials that White Tie has graciously written and compiled, (which you can access from the stickies at the top of this forum), and has, at least, tried to change what they would like changed in a particular theme before posting to ask for help instead of "will you get sometime to make it perfect". He gave you detailed, "perfect" instructions. Your posts are tantamount to "I've tried nothing and I'm stumped. Do it for me?" You posted "someone is really not able to done the job just like me", I say FEED your mind and don't give up. All the knowledge in the world is at your fingertips. Access it.

I think you have already proven that you can do it, you just need to take the time to gain a bit of knowledge.

I am not currently theming at this time, if I were, this is not a theme I would work on.
It is technically a 'mod', but I don't consider it my theme, so I would work on one I consider my theme instead.

For me, the theme is fine the way it is.
If you need changes made to make it "perfect" for you, you will need to learn how to theme or find someone willing to make these changes for you.
The following are enough additional notes to help you get started with the changes you want.

Example and Breakdown:
Code:
set tcp.element [a b c d x x x x]

NUMBER	FUNCTION
a left or right position of the image
b up or down position of the image
c image width pixel size
d image height pixel size
x x x x dont touch these. They are used to stretch or slide the image as the layout changes width or height.
GRAPHIC EDITS
Code:
- make a backup of the original image to folder you are not working in
- Open image in Photoshop, Gimp or another image editor
NOTE: I use Gimp
- make a working copy (duplicate the layer with the image)
- on the working copy:
	- select as much black area as needed to cover the GAIN text on the right
	- copy and paste the selection to cover the GAIN text.
- on the original image:
	- select the Gain text. select the green line below as well ti help with vertical alignment in next step
	- copy the selection on the original image.
	- paste it on the left in the working copy image where you want it.

- save or export the image to PNG
NOTE: in Gimp you should delete the original image so you have a single layer.
This will allow you to save as a PNG file

Beyond this you will need to read the guide for creating a basic theme by White Tie:
https://forum.cockos.com/showthread.php?t=181913
- download or watch: WALTER : A themer's guide
- look through the WALTER SDK
- look through the Theme Images SDK

TIP:
Take a break when you're frustrated and come back to it later.
Eventually it will start make sense.

I think english is not Khraystotac3 first language, so the phrasing is most likely not properly conveying his intention clearly.

I was using Solaris Gray, v 2.5, and it suddenly started to slow down considerably Reaper (v6.8) on startup - it stuck on about 10 seconds on Loading Configuration.

I changed the theme back to default and startup was instant.

Is this an issue thats known about this theme?
