Default Change Control surface fader bank with keyboard shortcut actions

Hi!

I have a behringer fader expansion (Only 8 faders with nothing else) and would like to be able to tell reaper to change the focus of the faders without having to click on anything.

If I click on one track, the focus change to that track, great. I found some actions that allow to select a particular track, that would work (I could make shortcuts for track 1,9,17,25 etc) but it is not registering as a proper "mouse click" so the control surface doesn't foolow.

Is anyone aware of something that would help me navigate the project without having to integrate another piece of gear for that single purpose?

Thanks!

I'll have to think about it a bit but I think CSI can do that.

See the incredibly long thread listed in the sig below

Try making custom actions adding 'Track: Set first selected track as last touched track' after the track selection action.

(Not sure if it works, but in some cases Reaper doesn't 'react' on selected track, but 'touched track'.)

That would have been super simple and awesome but no... the surface only follow the mouse clicks... Thanks for your suggestion! There's so much actions there must be a way but how ahah!
