Default Scaling no longer functional

This release killed my scaling.

Can't seem to get it back no matter what options I choose.

That feature branch is not in this release. It is in the current development builds and will be in future development builds.

Quick question, will the new Midi CC improvements be available only in v6?

# main window: improve vertical scroll behavior when resizing window/dockers
What happen to this ? It is not even in the changelog anymore.

It was mature enough for release IMHO.

It's pretty much the only reason I'm still on pre-releases.

Hello. I hope this helps someone.

I've noticed and confirmed this by downgrading back to 5.983 official release. Something in this pre-release breaks SWS contextual toolbars. I've tried testing the last 5 stable versions of SWS and it's not that, it's this pre-release.

Contextual toolbars work in this pre-release but ONLY certain locations. For example, hovering the mouse over the TCP empty area and the track itself is broken. No toolbars appear even if they are setup correctly.

SWS contextual toolbars work over the transport, empty area, items, etc just not related to TCP. MIDI editor is fine too.

Just a heads up for devs. Hope this helps.

I haven't followed or tested but didn't they make newer SWS builds for these pre-releases?

Sorry, I thought I mentioned that in the post clearly. I tried all pre-releases and stable SWSs going back to 2017. Pretty safe to assume it's Reaper related. None of the SWS work they all fail as I describe, until I revert back to Reaper's current stable release. FWIW.

yes that one sws_win64_rev_4d87067.zip seems to fix the issue.

No clue why though? What could have changed only regarding targeting TCP I wonder.

Because some BR functions needed updates in order for contextual toolbars to work after some things changed internally in Reaper regarding how tracks are processed (which enabled Reaper to work with a much larger track count than before).

Everything you say always makes the most sense.
