Default Reaper Glitches

Hello! So here`s my problem, previously Reaper worked fine and stable even despite the fact that I had used much more plugins/resources than I use with my actual projects now. Now it starts glitching, crackling, lagging. I think that`s enough words to imagine. That means I really can`t do anything (mixing, mastering, etc). And that remains even at the highest possible latency of my card (NI KA6). You may say checking PC for viruses or clean smth, but I checked everything, and only Reaper`s lagging, nothing else. So... any help will be appreciated, who knows, maybe smb experienced smth similar...

2 things. First, try making a totally fresh PORTABLE install of reaper and see if the problem is still there.
Second, run a latency monitoring programme to see if anything else on your system is spiking.

This sounds like it is likely driver related, although the NI that you have is generally reckoned to be pretty good in terms of latency.
What is your computer spec and what cpu hit are you registering in both Reapers Power meter AND the Windows one?

Also .. what happens now if you reinstall an earlier version of Reaper (one that was OK before)? And what, apart from the Reaper version, has changed since then?

Ok, I`ll try making it portable later. Where can I find that monitoring?
Apart from the Reaper version, nothing has changed
