Working here. Any steps to reproduce?

main toolbar - grid lines off, snapping on.

AI snapping to media items on same track only.

in case gif isn't clear enough, the AI snaps to brown item (same track), doesn't catch on nearby track item edges. I'm using the ICC18/64 version btw.

Tried on both 5.93rc2 and 5.93. I got the same result: AI doesn't snap to item on other track neither on 5.93rc2 nor 5.93.
By the way, I'm on Windows 10.

if Justin says that's how it's supposed to be then I guess it's not a bug. not a deal breaker, makes sense for AI to snap only to it's own track

Not a bug, but it could snap like items. I know you also want it to be implemented.

Don't you think it would be great to have it something like this with items?

Thank you so much for the VLC 3 support! Testing with 3.0.3. Seems to work well so far, although I noticed what might be the tiniest bit of offset more than VLC 2.2.8. It could be my imagination though. Will check this out some more.

Also, I do not see a performance improvement over 2.2.8 on my system, unlike what was reported by someone in one of the RC threads. Still wishing we could get less lag and tighter frame seeking with VLC!
