Default Bug reaper560pre15_x64

If set my block size in reapers preference to 192 my Focus rite pro 40 firewire stays on 128. If I set it to 256 it changes in the mix control also to 64 and 128. It appears that 192 block size is not working.

I tried this with the previous build also same issue.

192 isn't a normal block/buffer size

32, 64, 128, 256, 512, 1024, 2048

Interesting and thanks for the info.
So why did Focus rite put it there?

Yes I am setting it in reaper just wondering why Reaper will allow me to
set it at 192. Yet it will not change. Unless I use mix control

Also in mix control there is a 192 setting also.

I guess the driver is to blame (for not accepting the REAPER request properly).

Sure that sounds like the typical Microsoft answer. LOL
( this was a joke no offense to you )

Sonar and Cubase 8 will change it. Just letting the devs know.
I mean it's not life or death situation here.

I think you may be confusing the sample rate with the block/buffer size (latency)

44.1 kHz, 48 kHz, 88.2 kHz, 96 kHz, 176.4 kHz, 192 kHz

A common block size for a fast response being 128 or 512

No it's the block as reaper calls it. Focus rite calls it it's the buffer size.
