Right click / insert new track small bug (SOLVED)
Hi
Just noticed a small bug.
Create 3 tracks. Enlarge them vertically.
Click & select track 1 on the TCP
Then right click on track 3 on the TCP -> track 3 is selected and the menu appears, choose "Insert New track"
-> the track is created just after track 1, I'd have assumed it would have been created after track 3.
Best

Works fine here. (I enlarged the tracks by dragging - is there a shortcut I should have used?)
When I right-click on track 3 it becomes the selected one and the new track appears after it.

no need of any shortcut.
I only right click on the bottom of the track TCP, it seems to make a difference

am i the only one with this bug ?
basically right click / insert track inserts a track after the track that was the last selected with a left mouse click.
it should inserts the track after the track that is right mouse clicked

Very old bug. I reported it about a year ago.
Preferences\Editting Behavior\mouse\ Mouse click on volume/pan and track buttons change track selection.
When not Checked, Insert Track via right click is broken.

That does not solving the problem!
Solving a problem is fixing the program.
When reaper install the new track in the right location, no matter what options are chosen, then the problem is (SOLVED)
