Default Problems with Syncing

When I use plug-ins such as Melodyne, or Waves Tune, the clock in the plugin is about 2-4 seconds ahead of the actual progress bar in reaper, making it very hard to edit the audio.

Does anyone else experience the problem or have any suggestions for fixing?

You can try disabling "anticipative fx processing" either globally or just for that track (and tracks that track is routed to).. the former is done in preferences/audio/buffering, there are actions for the latter..

Waves Tune doesn't seem to run the separate Waves Rewire part on it's own. In Pro Tool we have to insert this on an Aux track manually. In other apps it fires up automatically. In REAPER, it seems to be a no go. Anyone else finding this?

What are these "actions"?

Use the filter box to find actions, just type "anti" and you get this:

That's also accessible via "Track performance options" (r-click on a track in the MCP or TCP).
