When playing back video with reaper, the video is not shown in the video window.
Instead, it's shown in a window titled "ActiveMovie Window".
Additionally, the "ActiveVideo Window" sometimes "blinks" (see description below)
This happens since the latest reaper update, the video projects worked fine before that.
This seems to be a fixed bug reemerging.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
- create new project
- load a supported video file
- make sure the video window is visible
- start playback
OR
- load a video project that worked in the past
- make sure the video window is visible
- start playback
EXPECTED
- Video playback starts in video window
ACTUAL
- Video playback starts in a borderless "ActiveMovie Window".
- window is sized according to the video window's size
- window is located on main screen and not movable
- when reaper is brought to front, the window stays in the back behind reaper
- Sometimes, it stays in this window.
- Sometimes, it jumps between this window and the reaper video window every second
-- window is closed after a split second, just to be reopened again
-- thus video playback alternates between reapers video window and this "active video window"
