Window with automation parameters closes when mouse pointer leaves window
Is this normal behaviour?
When I open the window with the automation parameters (by clicking on the trim button) the window closes as soon the mouse pointer leaves the window.I thought it's a feature, but maybe it's a bug. Using Debian with XFCE.

Not happening here using xfce with Xubuntu. I can pop the automation window up and move my pointer to any other position over REAPER or even off of it, and the automation window remains open.
I also tried having some FX windows open to see if maybe one of them would try to steal focus or something, but that wouldn't make it happen either. |

I experience this with some plugins in Ubuntu Studio (Xfce). I right-click somewhere in the FX or Vsti, and sometimes have to move very carefully the mouse, in order for the window not to dissapear. I see that I have to move the pointer outside of the window and then enter again with care, otherwise the window dissapears...
I think it happens mostly with Wine plugs, but I could be wrong. Talking about focus, I also see that the FX chain window also loses easily its focus, and no matter how much I click on the window, I am not able to insert a FX with the usual shortcut until I press the "Add" or "Remove" button. This issue deserves a dedicated thread for sure, but I bring it in this discussion to point out that I see some focus issues, broadly speaking, in the Linux version Reaper. No showstoppers at all, of course, but they will deserve some dev love at some point... |

I'm running v6.11 - May 24 2020. Here's a thought that may have nothing to do with anything, but I've noticed in the past both on my main Linux DAW and on my Raspberry Pi that how I click my left mouse button can leave it latched or something. The effect I see usually is clicking a menu pops it and closes it before I can point at an item on the menu, but if I quickly drag the mouse after clicking where I get focus on a menu item such that it highlights, then the menu doesn't instantly close on me. Probably not related, but I thought I'd throw that out there.

I had the the setting "Focus follow mouse" in XFCE activated. With the standard settings the window stays open.
