Default Delay compensation (PDC)

Hi. Is this normal, when delay compensation of a plug-in (say, EQ or compressor) is 0 spls?
The analyzer seems a second late. Or even more...
How can a REAPER user adjust PDC?

PDC is not about synchronizing sound and GUI, but about synchronizing between the tracks.

Supposedly you set a great latency in you sound equipment driver - which might or might not be appropriate.

Did you check your Anticipative Fx processing setting too ? You can lower that one to get things more responsive...

No, not at all, the usual 128 spls.

A dozen audio tracks...

So, it's not PDC we're talking about, it's... PADC —
plugin analyzer delay compensation )

I've changed 1200 to 200. And it's got better.
Thanks.

The synchronization between the sound and its appearance (is this the right word?) on an analyzer.

I assume s/he meant:

Options > Preferences > Audio > Buffering >

Anticipative FX Processing - superior multiprocessing and lower interface latencies (may not be compatible with certain FX (UAD), live monitoring is not processed)

Render ahead [200]ms (default 200)

Why it would be on 1200 is moot.

Robert answered correctly.
I thought it would be obvious from the context (I quoted Regisfofo there).

Why this setting was on 1200? Frankly, I don't recall.

And it's a "he" )
