Default MIDI editor: Actions armed by right-clicking toolbar do not work in CC lane [FIXED!]

In the MIDI editor, actions that are armed by right-clicking on their toolbar buttons will execute when left-clicking in the piano roll area, but not when clicking in a CC lane.

The mouse cursor has the "A" when positioned over either the piano roll or the CC lane (but reverts to the normal cursor when positioned over other parts of the MIDI editor, such as the track list or piano keyboard), so I assume that armed actions are actually supposed to work in the CC lane. (I.e., this is a bug report, not a feature request.)

CC editing actions and scripts are often position sensitive, so it would be very useful if arming (and delayed execution) could work in the CC lanes.

(REAPER v5.40, and since time immemorial)

As demonstration: MIDI editing functions and scripts that follow mouse movement can be linked to toolbar buttons, armed by right-clicking, and then executed -- but only in the piano roll area:

This very useful feature does not work in the controller lanes.

The GIF also demonstrates a related bug: When a toolbar button is armed, left-clicking should *only* execute the armed function -- not the left-click mouse modifier action. In the GIF, left-clicking also runs the "View: Move edit cursor to mouse cursor", which I have linked to the left-click default action.

These are the "js_1-sided warp (accelerate) selected events in lane under mouse" and "js_Stretch selected events in lane under mouse" scripts, respectively.

FIXED in v5.95!

One remaining niggle is that the left-drag mouse modifier action can too easily be activated inadvertently if the mouse is moved while clicking.

(This is particularly relevant for script and actions that require the user to move the mouse: users would prefer to click and move in one fluid movement, instead of clicking, pausing, and then moving.)

Feature request: I suggest that left-drag actions should be deactivated when an action is armed.

How did you even get those buttons? I'd probably prefer those to key shortcuts.

Right-click on your MIDI editor toolbar and start customizing it. User guide and videos are our best friends!
