Default "Removing Track 1"

Recently, when I want to close the project, open a new one or even to close an empty one, there is suddenly a note on the Reaper tab - "removing track 1" and it is being stuck there for ages (especially on Mac). Sometimes it directly crashes ("Reaper quit unexpectedly). What is this ??

I see it appears plugin related (FabFilter).... is "Allow complete unload of VST plug-ins" checked in VST preferences? Seems like I had to check that years back and has prevented this issue ever since as it has to do with plugin unloads or similar.

Thanks for the 'unload' fix - I've been having the same problem but not any more.

But where exactly is this option to be checked ? I do not see it in Preferences/VST

It's the second to last entry at the bottom of Preferences > VST (the full description is Allow complete unload of VST plug-ins (reduces memory use, but may not be compatible).

You can also search for it directly by using, for instance, 'allow complete unload' in the Find field at the bottom left of the preferences window.

I replied in your other thread about this option.
