Something strange happens when (some? all?) envelopes pass the 0 dB line.

I believe this display only occurs when volume envelope preferences are at two different non-default settings: amplitude scaling rather than fader scaling, and a display range of +12dB or +24dB. With that combination of settings, the top half of the envelope has a different range than the bottom half, and the only way REAPER could display that envelope segment as a straight line would be if the center of the envelope was at +6dB or +12dB.

Makes sense. I recently discovered that my setting was on amplitude scaling (for some reason), so I changed it to fader scaling. But these are old envelopes and I didn't apply that change to them because I didn't want to screw up the automation I had already written.

I suppose that I won't have to deal with refracted automation lines moving forward, since all envelopes should be fader-scaled.
