Default Ableton paid plugins without Ableton possible?

Hi there

as per title: can I use my Ableton paid plugins in Reaper after disintalling Ableton?

I know that I can open Ableton into Reaper, and yesterday I moved Ableton projects in a breeze

and I've found that opening Ableton into Reaper, the RAM wasted is lower than Ableton alone!

but Ableton wastes a lot of space in my HD as well and I would remove it

anyway if can I can't use Ableton paid plugins in Reaper after killing Ableton, it's not a tragedy: I am an amateur so I can survive to it
;-)

what do you mean by "ableton paid plugins"? Does Live use a proprietary format for additional plugins? I thought it just used standard VST etc

No. Ableton does not include any plugins you can use elsewhere.

I'm afraid you are right: Ableton instruments are not VSTs but racks
so the only way to use them is enslaving ableton LOL

it is amazing that the enslaved Ableton doesn't crash, and both enslaved Ableton and Reaper use less RAM than Ableton alone, but I started hating "close systems" like e.g. AIR Ignite I used at the very beginning, and now Ableton, so I'll just find elsewhere the 3 preferred instruments I had in Ableton (Hammond, Wurlitzer and a sax)

thanks to all
