Default MIME Type/Sub-Type Question

I know I can filter "Application", But (how) can i get it to filter something like "Application/X-Bubblegum" ?? it doesn't seem to work for me, do i need to replace the "\" with some other character or am i just screwed unless a new version comes out and supports mime sub-types?
