link track list in midi editor with track selection in arrange

Is there any way to link the track selection in the arrange window with the track list selection in the midi editor?

For example when I open up the track list in the piano roll midi editor window with this action
Contents: Show/hide track list
and then I select different tracks in the midi editor track list I want the track selection in the arrange to follow this selection.

Check Prefs, MIDI Editor is set to Open one MIDI Editor per project
and
Open all selected MIDI items
Enable Active MIDI item follows selection changes in Arrange view

Apply and close Prefs

Select MIDI items in Arrange View, open MIDI editor

Make sure Contents, Track list is ticked on menu. Makes sure all items are marked as visible and (if you wish) editable

Now when you select an item in track list in MIDI Editor that will also be selected in Arrange View (and vice versa).

In MIDI Editor you can use Track List on right to select track. Arrange view will follow your selection.

PS There are other permutations of options that will also do what you want - this is my preferred method.

Thank you for this but I am looking to change the track selection in the arrange, not just the midi item selection.

I have a passthrough for
Script: X-Raym_Select only tracks of selected items.lua
as my workaround

But I was hoping there was a setting that would also change my track selection automatically.
