Default EX2M - Expression pedal to MIDI adapter

Does anyone use the EX2M - Expression pedal to MIDI adapter? If so would you recommend its use in REAPER?

Cheers

If it works like these it should be fine:

The adjustment curves are useful in the Audiofront products.

It should work fine. A bit on the expensive side IMO, but it should work like any other MIDI interface.

If you'd like more switches and expression pedals I can recommend to look at buying a used Behringer FCB1010. It has 2 expression pedals and 10 switches. I bought mine for about €60.

Both options the OP and I came up with a aren't cheap relative to the functionality on offer, but not hideously expensive either. They are niche products.

That was a bit of luck. I've seen the Behringer go for a fair bit more on eBay.
I nearly got one some years ago but there was some issue as I seem to recall on the firmware, at the time anyway.

Maybe it's just here in Sweden they go for cheap on the used market? I've seen many selling for €50.

I haven't heard anything about problems with the firmware, but it is not very logical to use. That's the reason why many buy the UnO2 eprom+firmware so that it gets easier to work with. I haven't done this as I only use it for simple effect pedal switching and wah in amp sims, but if you want to use it in a bit more advanced way it's probably a good idea to update it with UnO.
