Default MIDI Recording Bug

MIDI loop recording on one track creates unwanted MIDI items on other tracks. Even though a workaround has been given in the following thread, I wanted to report it as a bug - because it is: https://forum.cockos.com/showthread.php?t=155970

How to reproduce:
Create Track
Record Arm track
Record a few seconds of MIDI on this track
Record Disarm track
Duplicate track
Time selection: Set start point a few seconds after the end of the recorded MIDI items
Time selection: Set end point a few seconds after the time selection start point
Place playback cursor before time selection start point
Toggle Repeat ON on Transport
Record Arm second (duplicated) track
Record MIDI within time selection on second track and let it loop at least once

Observe MIDI item on first track incorrectly stretch to the time selection end point

Using Reaper 6.11
Windows 7 64 bit
Lynx AES16e
