Default Great FX, but small issue...

Lately have been having a strange stutter thing with reaper. When I hit space to play, Reaper starts playing for a second or so, then halts a for half a second, and then continues playing normally.

This single stutter does not happen always, but mainly when moving the cursor to a new start position and hitting space. Stopping and starting playback a few times fixes the issue, but it is annoying nonetheless.

I just now realized that when such a stutter occurs, the EBUR128 Loudness Measurement v2.4, which I have on the master track, puts an entry into the undo history. The entry in the undo buffer says:
Code:
Edit FX parameter: Master: EBUR128 Loudness Measurement v2.4
Right-clicking the EBUR128 entries in the undo buffer, for some the "Undo state information" says:
Code:
Master FX: 2764 -> 2776 bytes
and for some it says:
Code:
Master FX: changed (2764 bytes)
I do not know why this happens, there are no user-editable parameters of EBUR128, only readouts.

To repeat:
I mouse click to move the play cursor, hit play, Reaper starts playing then stops, EBUR128 puts an entry in the undo buffer, then Reaper continues playing.

Any ideas how to fix this?

W7x64, Reaper v5.97/x64.

Ok, please download latest version (2.7) here: https://www.tb-software.com/TBProAudio/download.html

"Automation Data" Off avoids undo buffering issues.

Thanks. That seems to have resolved the issue. Great!

And thanks for the great JSFX, it is really useful.

This script is really cool! I love it.

Is there a way to detect if the track is muted in JSFX? I'd love to have the display change from the LUFS number to the word MUTED if the track the FX is on is set to muted.

For reference. I'm using the Embedded UI on a track and am looking for a much more visible way to know when a track is muted than just the little M icon going on and off.

Use the dp Meter, the algorithm has been updated constantly, this JSFX might not be in @tune@ with the today standards, just a guess of mine.

Well, JSFX is still in tune, but an update could make sense :-)

Yesterday i tested the JS version and i could have embedded in TCP and MCP without any problem, today it doesn't show the meter.
CPU wise is more intense then the VST version.

That would be great. I like how the radar shows loudness information on a small box.
Thanks.
