Default Metering for DAW-Hardware Outputs?

Evening All,

Is there a way to view a meter for my DAW outputs (output channels) other than the main outs? I'd like to be able to see how hot of a signal I am sending out.

I've been through the manual and searched the forums and didn't find an answer, though I did find this thread from many moons ago: http://forum.cockos.com/showthread.php?t=33313

So I was curious if it was ever implemented or if a work around was found.

Thanks.

I believe, there is no such option in Reaper.
Main output can be metered either via mixer or via monitoring FX, where you can insert whatever plugin meter. But for other outputs, which are directly assigned to track, there is only mixer meter.
Usually this is only possible by soundcard's mixer control panel (eg. RME TotalMix, Focusrite MixControl, MOTU CueMix..). Budget soundcards without DSP doesn't have that option.
