Default Take Markers - Grouped Tracks

Gotta say that the Take Markers are a game-changer me. They are allowing for some exciting new workflows.

One thing that I am finding today after a week of orchestral recordings, is that the Take Marker Window (Region Manager) is flooded with duplicates. Obviously it is listing the TM for each audio file in the group. My sessions were 32ch, so each take marker is being listed 32 times.

Is there a way to only show one instance of a TM per grouped track group?

Can you not use Project markers? Are you trying to mark a single item/take and the TM is applied to all because they are grouped?

take markers are awesome

I would also like to filter:
per track
per selected takes

it could be also nice if we could add take markers according to the start of midi notes

The benefits of TM is that they are locked to the media, not the timeline. So as you move, edit, copy your media, the notations follow along. As I am recording 32chs at once, grouping is important to ensure all media is grouped.

Do you need to mark all of the tracks in the group?

The desired behaviour is to have a grouped collection of media items on the timeline, that are all the sources being recorded, and have it have Take markers that typically identify what this material is at the start and then usually a number of markers throughout the recording.

TM at start: Reel42, T003-C
Then markers like bar 230, great, false start etc.

Once we move from tracking to editing, mixing, these grouped files will then be edited and moved around, so having the TM locked to the media will be amazing. I would say that the TMs would best be assigned to each child media item of a group as editing sometimes breaks these groups and swaps out a note or two, such as a flam on drum or a split on French horn.
