Default Solo-in-Front via Hardware Outputs

Hi all!

Solo-in-Front doesn't work when I use it with Hardware Outputs.
Could anyone confirm if this is a bug?

- All my Top-Level Folders have Master/Parent-Send deactivated.
They go out via hardware outputs into a summing box.

- The Mix returns on a Print Track which I have rec-enabled and through which I monitor.
It's the only top-level track with master-send activated.

- When I solo-in-front a track, I only hear dimmed versions of tracks in the same folder (going to the same hardware outputs). Any other tracks that go out through another folder or another HW-Output will not play.

- The meters all show correct behavior (Purple "D" Symbol, Level OK) but the tracks can't be heard.

Maybe it has something to do with the recent solo improvements?

Best,
Frank

Hate to bump this, but alt-clicking the solo button to ignore routing doesn‘t work either in this scenario.
Am I the only one running into this with analog summing?
I‘m very fond of those solo features and would hate not being able to use them.

Question still stands: bug or error on my part?

Best,
Frank

don't know if it a bug or by design.

but you can help yourself with routing all tracks that you won't send to master to another track (kind of 2. master)
solo inplace will be obeyed when playing via this 2. master (set a stereo hardware output for this or use the real master)

trk 1 (no master) -> trk 6
trk 2 (no master) -> trk 6
trk 3 (no master) -> trk 6

trk 6 -> hardware output

That‘s kind of the same thing I‘m doing now:

- DRM Bus -> HW Out 1-2
- BASS Bus -> HW Out 3-4
- GTR Bus -> HW Out 5-6
etc. up until HW Out 15-16

-> Summing Output
-> Mix Input Ch. 15-16 (only track w/ Master Send on)

Somehow the Solo-in-Front Feature doesn‘t take Hardware Outputs into consideration.
