Remove Maximum Tempo Limit
It would be nice to have the maximum tempo limit removed or increased.
Currently it maxes out at 960 BPM. I had a situation today making some really fast beats where I would have liked to have gone faster than that.
It would be nice to have no limit at all, or if one is necessary, perhaps 5,000?

hah, well... you can make your midi notes and audios twice shorter on the grid, it will allow you to make beats twice speed haha

Did you consider using shorter notes than quarter notes?

alt-drag the right edge of your items to shrink them. Exactly the same effect as increasing the tempo.

I would like to be able to have a click source/metronome that goes over 1,000. I don't see why there should be an arbitrary limit at all?
I like to use the click source and then trigger off of that and sample replace it with various sounds, etc.
I also want to be able to use pre-built MIDI drum loops at faster than 1,000 BPM.

Tried modulating playrate? You can go to 4 times the playing speed, which yields 960x4 BPM

We've got sample rates into the MHz now, so I don't see why we can't have bpm into the thousands.

Haha I have not but I feel that would probably mess some other things up, especially when trying to record additional live real-time takes on top of it, etc. Seems like that should not be necessary.

By the way, you should be able to do a live overdub in a second project tab that runs at regular playrate, against your extratone project running at wild BPM.

Why not use regular MIDI notes instead of the click track? Using 1/128 notes in 960bpm 4/4 seems awfully fast to me
