"Show last touched FX parameters only" as a standard
Just a small FR: I miss the option to set the "show last touched FX parameters only" setting in the track envelope window as a standard so that this is always set if I don't remove the check mark.

Nobody else interested? To me this little improvement could totally and easily clean up the automation mess within the envelope window. clicking the "show last touched FX parameter only" normally is the first click I do in this window of infinite possibilities.

I waste a lot of time searching for the right parameters ...
please implement an "show used only" option and make it standard. this would be extremely helpful

I wouldn't want that option to be the default because then you cannot see all the parameters each plugin has. Thankfully the whole list is easily filterable through search.

I've put the "Show/hide track envelope for last touched FX parameter" onto a toolbar button so I do not need to go anywhere near the Envelope window.

This could be a script request like:
"Toggle show envelope for touched fx parameter, hide others for related track"
...since you didn't point you want this perform for all tracks or only for related track.
This could be runned in background of course, but I personally don't like the idea have something in background.

This would be a nice option. Default being as is and if a user prefers make it as default toggled on: Show last touched FX parameters only

Ableton does it right -- it displays the last touched envelope temporarily, and if the next thing you do is add a point it keeps it armed and visible -- if you click on something else then it goes away. It's perfect; shows itself when you probably need it most, and disappears otherwise.

In InteractiveToolbar you can use #lasttouchedfx widget to always overview/edit slider with last touched parameter (or float last touched FX).

For electronic music making Ableton and Bitwig rocks with this feature and i hope Reaper devs consider to make it natively in the future.
Also i'd like to be able to toggle faster fx parameters when right click on the track or track envelope or at least to have the option to configure this menu to show only the fx parameters.
One more thing that could make life easier would be to show/hide the selected automation envelopes with an option on the selected track envelope, similar to cubase's -+ and to rearrange their order by dragging them up or down.
I think using less actions for things like that and focus more on sound editing actions would make the workflow even better
