nonmodal user input?

Hello

There is GetUserInputs api https://www.reaper.fm/sdk/reascript/...#GetUserInputs However, it is modal only, which means it stops all other interactions with reaper while the input box is on.

Is there an easy way to make a nonmodal input box for text?

Usobg a GFX can do the trick, however because everything has to be coded from scratch, If you need a text field, I advice you to take a look at existing GUI framework like Lokasenna Lua one.

It's the best gui-lib for Reaper and makes a lot of the Gui-stuff doable at all. Coding it from scratch is too hard to do, though some attempted it and made impressive ones...
