Waveforms only visible when zooming in (NO BUG)

Hi guys i have a little problem since a few days ago, every time i record something, the waveforms are not showing, and i can see them only if i zoom in a lot.
If i open older projects the waveforms are perfectly visible.
I'm not sure but i think this problem appeared since i upgraded my PC to Windows 10.
Someone has an idea to solve this?

I thought i searched pretty well before posting but obviously that wasn't enough, i found several threads with the same issues but no real answer :

Well in the first thread it's said the problem come from the reaper.ini file, so i tried to delete all the peak related lines in it, i could see the peaks at any zoom level but i lost all my configuration, do someone knows what i have to delete in the ini file to solve the problem and keep my configurations?

(I still have the original .ini file)

I tried to modify only lines by lines but it doesn't work either, each time i modify something, all my parameters are lost. I really don't know how to solve this.

... if the "rebuild peaks" action does not help, the problem may be related to using a common alternate peak file path and/or losing access or access permissions to that path (that's where the Windows upgrade could play a role).

You should be able to change the alternate path simply via Preferences->Paths or disable it there.

Thank you for your answer Ollie, i did searched pretty badly!

It indeed is the reason i can't see my waveforms anymore, if i launch Reaper as an admin i don't have this problem. I'm searching how i can change the permissions of my folders to settle this and continue to use Reaper as i was using it on Windows 7. I'll tell here if i found something if someone has the same problem in the future.
