Lancaster Pulse not loading

I set up a new PC, imported my settings but the only plugin that doesnt load is Pulse. Reaper is detecting and even showing it to add, but when adding it doesnt work, the FX window shows the plugin with the message "The following effect plugin could not be loaded"

Any clues or tips ???

(Disclaimer: I'm not familiar with Lancaster Pulse. I Googled it, but I'm too lazy to register in order to download it.)

So, it's a free impulse response loader; this leads me to think that it might be the kind of plugin that needs to be installed to the system (perhaps so it can keep track of where its IR data is) whereas most free VSTs will work as soon as you move a .dll (or similar) to your plugin folder. Is that the case? And, if so....

(Disclaimer: It is rarely my intention to patronise people, but sometimes expediency in troubleshooting comes across that way.)

.... did you install it to the new system? How did that go?

It's a free plugin and there is no installation, just drop files on folders and it should work. However, it's not. At this point Reaper detects on start and its showing on ADD FX both VST3 and the regular VST, and it's loading but it wont work.

Well, that's weird. Has anything changed on the system from the time when it wouldn't load at all?

Two things you could try:

# In the Add FX window, right-click on the plugin and try all the options under "Run as"

# In the Add FX window, right-click on the plugin and try "Buggy plugin compatiblity mode"

Maybe something got corrupted somewhere, the VST works fine for me on Mac. Maybe try downloading it fresh and adding it again

I downloaded many times afgter not getting this to work on this new pc...

Guys, I just answered you adn install the new version of Reaper then, it worked!

I just loaded a project and added the FX like I was doing (I don't give up so easily.

Also checked the songs that I have used the plugin, it there!!! Although it is not finding the IRs, which is not a big deal , will point to that later.

I restarted Reaper and now its not working again.

I give up, will use another free one that works such as NADIR.
