Default Mouse Modifier for Square Automation?

Hi! Is there a way to set up a Mouse Modifier to be able to draw Square Automation on the fly?

ie, you are holding Shift to draw in a point (default Linear), but if you hold Ctrl-Shift you get on the fly square?

Thanks!

yeah there is a very kewl way...

make a floating toolbar [I keep all my 16 FTB's in a dock, each with it's own tab and the tabs have their own names ---nice hint]

OK, anyway... on the toolbar, put the actions:

Envelope: Set default point shape to bezier
Envelope: Set default point shape to fast end
Envelope: Set default point shape to fast start
Envelope: Set default point shape to linear
Envelope: Set default point shape to slow start/end
Envelope: Set default point shape to square

either use icons for them of make them dbl wide text icons with your own names..

OK now ..if you rt clk one of them it will become 'armed' so when you clk on the env to put in a point it will be the shape you have armed... and then to change to another shape, rt clk that shape...

way nice! way easy

so then a suggestion... I have on 'env and points' toolbar, those actions and also the ones to set the shape of any and all selected points... so you can quickly change some points with those actions
