Default midi track stops working in reaper

Hi, I have a simple project, 4 midi tracks I assigned to channels 2,3,4,5. I am using the aria player in reaper. The 5th channel is a latin percussion track. When I first assigned the midi channels in reaper, everything plays fine. I added a verb buss, and reaeq to each channel, then the percussion track stops working. All routing looks correct, and I have some experience with this, but never encountered an issue where the track works, then just stops. Any advice ?

I have quite similar problem. I imported midi file from notation program (MuseScore). I had 4 instruments there, so Reaper put them in 4 separate tracks. When I use Reaper´s own VSTi plugin (ReaSynth) all the four tracks play nice. When I change it to Xpand2 plugin then 2 of tracks play nice and 2 of them don´t play at all no matter what instrument do I chose. Does anyone have any idea what can be the problem?

Hey man, I went back, and double clicked on the percussion midi track>select all>view channel>and found that for some reason the channel had been reassigned to channel 5, and should have been channel 4. I know I said channels 2-5 before, but the percussion track would work, then just stop.
