Default Reaper says I'm not the admin, won't let me save into the folder?

I was trying to save some MIDI Note MAP's, into that folder, but it won't let me with the following message:

I'm the admin on this PC and the only person that uses it, does anybody know why Reaper would show this message?

While it probably can be set up to work like that, you shouldn't really save stuff into the Program Files folder anyway. (The logical consequence of letting people do that is that the next thing they complain about is that their custom data was deleted due to an uninstaller that didn't work right or something like that.)

You can probably put that file in the Reaper user settings folder instead :

c:\YourUsername\appdata\roaming\REAPER\MIDINoteNam es

That's a protected folder, you need to save somewhere else that is in your user path, not the program files path. Something like My documents or a subfolder within it. As far as admin, there are two types FYI...

1. Your user account being an administrator of the machine.

2. The rights a program you are running has.

#2 is straight up security, even with you being an "administrator" and reaper running under your user account, it does not have administrator rights itself, unless you elevate privileges (such as explicitly running reaper as admin) which you don't need to do and shouldn't do.
