Default New Song - Inside Out

A new song inspired by endless days stuck at home.

I'm playing everything and singing all the vocals.

It's titled "Inside Out" at:

Quirky "I am the Walrus" style of song to my ears. Lots going on here. Only negative is I hear a few pitching issues in the intro vocal, otherwise cool.

Thanks Barry. There are a lot of instruments in this song. The real ones I'm playing are Semi-Hollow 6-String, solid body 6-String, Semi-Hollow 12-String electric, bass, and acoustic drums.

The virtual instruments I used are piano, Hammond organ, sitar, MiniMoog, Surge Synth, tambourine, baritone sax, tenor sax, trombone, trumpets, violin, cello, a singing bowl and some wind chimes.

You might have listened to the first mix I put up, but I changed the vocals in the opening since then to sing a melody that's more similar to the ending vocals.

Love the feel on this one.

I still struggle with British drummers.... so very different from most of the American ones I have worked with over the years.

Mind you, one of the ones I worked with (albeit at a distance via MIDI!!) was Larry Landin. WHAT a player.

You're not referring to the Nashville drummer Larrie Londin are you? Larrie Londin was one of the session musicians for the guy I toured with in the 70s and was on most of his 6 top 40 hit songs.

Love the intro.

Song is a bit 'dirty'...

Could be the over use of REVERB???

Seems like the producer is hiding the vocal track...

With "Inside Out", I venture the proposition that Glennbo is effectively channeling Klaatu. I _really_ like Klaatu.

Thanks Asharin.

One of the most fun to play parts was the Hammond organ sim, because I have a drum controller by my midi keyboard with it's faders assigned to the drawbars so I can play the organ with my right hand while morphing it's sound and operating the Leslie with my left.
