Default Palette Primary Colors Freebie - Where's Brass & Woodwinds?

Supposed to include Strings, Woodwinds & Brass. All I can get is Strings. Any hints?

Working here on Win10 Pro /Reaper v5.9.2 /Kontakt5.81 (R43).
(3) Tracks with Strings, Winds, Brass __ Sustains
Must use Upper (pink) GUI Keyboard or MIDI Controller Keys to select though.

Complaints over on VI-C Forum as well .....

Upper keys are red, not pink - and green when activated.

Not sure why there are any complaints, this is all explained in the manual, bottom of page 5. Just people lazy to read them, I guess.

Oh! You mean under the heading, "Articulations"? Gee, how'd I miss that?

No, Ed, I'm not too lazy to read the manual.

Maybe I missed it because the word 'articulations' doesn't mean 'instrument selection'.

Perhaps someone is too lazy to stifle their arrogance.

QBaD.

Well, Palette is all about articulations, not really "sections" - that's why you get sustains and staccatos in the freebie - they are articulations. Recorded from different sections, but presented as individual articulations, not as sections. You adjust section volume/pan in the mixer, that's about the only thing section related there. Everything else is articulation related and is handled with articulation evaluation engine (TACT), which is by default set to keyswitches for all 6 available articulations. And those keyswitches can be polyphonic (press more than once to stack 'em up). That's all there's to it, really simple. Keyswitches exactly the same like in any other orchestral library, except you can layer them up, which is a cool feature.
