Tempo mapping, Groove regrooving..what?

Relative Noobie here...still getting the hang of all of this after a few months. I have a couple of songs that were not recorded with a click track where the time wanders. What's the fix? I've looked at tempo mapping 101 and there is one video of SWS extension version of this but still stuck. I need a good tutorial that puts it all together to do the time/groove/warp thing.

(Jiff's suggestion is of course not correct, as that does the exact opposite.)

I am currently struggling with this same problem.

In Protools, it was a piece of cake.


Maybe there's a third party plugin that can do this? (I suspect there must be.)

So you tried this from Jiff's linked thread??

Once you tempo map something and return timebase to beats (position, length, rate), items should stretch and change their position in accordance with tempo.

Heyyo- just set track to 'time' insert markers @ every beat,2nd or 4th beat w/e.. then run action -convert markers to tempo--
Dis-able change pitch with tempo in item settings.
Simplez-right?
