64-bit version of LICEcap?
Is there any word of a forthcoming 64-bit version of LICEcap?
I'm starting to get the 32-bit warnings when I open it ("LICEcap is not optimized for your Mac. This app needs to be updated by its developer to improve compatibility). |

LICEcap doesn't do anything that would need 64-bit processing, so I doubt it. A couple of articles I just read about that warning suggested it should only pop up once per app though.

It should be pretty trivial to do a 64 bit build, though. (For someone who already has the development tools installed...)

Need for 64-bit processing isn't really relevant. The issue is that Apple has said as of Fall 2019 they will change from a one-time warning to not running 32-bit apps at all. It seems silly to call their bluff. Is recompiling for 64-bits all that difficult?

Usually it's not difficult at all, basically it's just a compile time switch change.
