Show midi channel toolbar icons can still only be used one channel at a time, so it's either one channel shown or all; and using show channel icons write to that midi channel, which is wrong.

Not sure if it's intentional, but there's an extra "file" menu in the Reaper app. menu after "help" and before "window" - OSX anyway. Empty.

This is also my question.

Last I heard, pip was "on hold" unless you manually added the line pip_en=1 to the reaper.ini file.

Does this mean it's now back? I can't tell, because my .ini file already had that edit!

I had to put the pip_en=1 line into my Reaper .ini file, so it seems it is not official. Perhaps they can put the option into the advanced parameters section. If I did not know of the thread I would have no idea how to activate it.

I haven't tried pip yet in the new version.

So when "official" beta testing of PiP will begin? Do you interested in bug reports by now?

We're interested in bug reports that are issues with specific issues, for sure!

It isn't enabled because it's not really stable enough to expect normal users to use it. If you like being bleeding edge and giving us feedback, that's great. Eventually once the kinks get worked out, it'll be a feature enabled by default. There's no ETA on that, though (really it'll be "when it is ready").

RAM usage, for eg. its muuuuch better now.

and now it doesnt crash when Batch Converting a PiP (.RPP) to wav
"Apply Track FX to items as new take" is also better (no crash) on PiPs

at least here, at least so far

You mean it doesn't go out the door buggy as shite do or die because it's the end of the business quarter and shareholders have to be paid?

Thank the DAW Gods!!
