Do you have IE installed? If yes, that it might be a authority problem, try running the script with admin rights.
If not, well, the tool needs IE for displaying its progress...

No IE here (Win7x64)... Is there a way to redirect to Opera maybe?

I'm working on it to make it run without a progress information window if IE isn't available...

there seems to be a DLL within your VSTScanPaths, which is faulty, has a length of 0Bytes or something, or it actually isn't a DLL but has the file extension ".dll"... The PluginManager has problems analyzing this "faulty" .dll file.
I'll try to catch these circumstances.

Try this:
download the attached .zip, unzip it and replace your "PluginManager.vbs" with the unzipped "PluginManager.vbs"

I updated the site http://www.familiekraft.de/PluginManager with the latest, final (hopefully) release.
Should work now, without IE installed, preventing some vbs runtime errors in unforeseen circumstances (initially, I wrote this tool for my own studio/system setup, not with other setups in mind).
Please tell me if it works for you.
Thanks!

Thank YOU!
After using the manager I searched for "https://www.familiekraft.de/PluginManager/" trying to find an author and say thanks. It took me quite a while to set up, but once it was setup correctly it has been very useful and works perfectly. I couldn't believe it addressed my two big concerns... Automap and Jbridge.
Thank you, Thank you.
