Default What is your favourite strategy of rendering a single .rpp project from command line

I want to render a single .rpp from command line in GnuLinux. Not
multiple .rpp, because if I have best strategy for a single .rpp, I
can apply it to any number of .rpp in one go, easily.

Now I would like to have options for rendering in following sequential
checking cases:

1. If .rpp has no regions and no time selection, render first single
bar only.

2. If .rpp has regions, render each region as a separate file.

3. If .rpp has no regions but a time selection, render time selection
as a separate file.

Rules for all above:
- render in ogg vorbis format, creating .ogg files
- render automatically in project directory

Can Reaper do this already? If not, what feature is missing so far?
If Reaper can do all above already, how? Thanks in advance.

My goal is: If I have 1000 .rpp on my harddisk, not knowing how they
sound any more, I could generate quickly and easily .ogg files in one go, so I could
listen to the old projects.

You might find it easier to get an answer in the actual Linux section of this set of forums (fora?)
I am a Linux newbie & it is very helpful over there. Good luck!
