Default Which reaper version should i download for catalina 10.15.5 please ?

I notice two osx downloads. The catalina one mentions plugin incompatabilities. Is that a beta or release version ?

Any help appreciated

Cheers

Hi

Just installed osx catalina 10.15 reaper version onto clean install of catalina 10.15.5 and cant get it to show any input in mixer or record using either mbp microphone or default system in preferences.

Has anyone had success with newest version on latest catalina update please ?

Cheers

Have you tried Audio MIDI Setup in Applications/Utilities? Your audio interface should be listed in there, and you should be able to right-click it to configure it for input and output.

Thanks for helping maralatho.

I dont have access to my interface at moment so just using osx default and input 1 on mixer but dont get a signal with monitoring turned on.

Also tried mbp microphone and again no input when clapping and mic level is high in system pref - sound.

Its weird because when i was on 10.15.4 catalina, i remember it working ( i think ). My memory is not so good even though just a few days ago.

If you haven't already, double-check if Reaper is enabled in the mic privacy settings of macOS: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT209175
